  • All positions are seasonal, part-time, non-benefited positions.
Facilities/Maintenance

Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the pool, pool deck, locker rooms, restrooms, cleaning the Hall and restrooms, gardening, watering the gardens, blowing the patio and pool deck, taking trash to dumpster as well as other cleaning duties. Requires physical strength to remove pool covers and recover the pool. Must be a motivated, fast and efficient worker who is able to take direction and multitask. Some knowledge of cleaning, pool maintenance, and gardening preferred. Hours vary, mostly mornings before pool opens and evenings after pool is closed. This is a great second job for someone familiar with construction and maintenance. Hourly rate 10.50-15.00 depending on experience and knowledge.

Community-Service Volunteer

Entering Freshmen and High School students from any local high school, may accumulate volunteer hours. Volunteers will work as facilities crew, or as front desk help during lessons. Students who have completed 8th grade are able to accrue community service hours during the summer before they enter high school. Volunteers must track hours on form obtained from their respective high school.  Hours: 10 am to 2 pm, daily.

Front Desk Cashier

Pool-desk cash register operator and receptionist. Responsibilities include greeting guests, responding to inquiries, starting till & opening set up, all transactions, end-of-day reconciliation. Must have excellent communication and math skills, and a positive friendly attitude. Must be at least 16 years old. Employees under 18 require a work permit. Beginning June 3, 2017. Hourly rate $10.50.

Lifeguard:

Responsible for water rescue & pool safety, pool deck, maintaining restroom and locker-room cleanliness. Must be 16 years old or older. Employees under 18 require a work permit. Beginning June 3, 2017. Hours:  weekdays 11:30 to 4:00 pm and weekends 11:00 to 5:00 pm and occasional 5:00-8:00 pm shifts.

Hourly rate $10.50-$15, depending on experience, certification and level.

Volunteer Instructional Aide

Middle School and High School students may accumulate community service hours as a swim lesson Instructional Aide. Responsible for assisting Swim-Lesson Instructors with students during lessons. Volunteers must keep track of hours on form obtained through their respective schools. Hours are Monday-Thursday 10:00 am-11:45 am June 5-July 27, 2017.

Hourly rate $10.50 to $12. Must be 15 years or older. Persons under 18 require a work permit. Requires full swim-session commitments. Instructors must be available both weeks of a session, preferably all summer long. Swim lessons are eight weeks: June 5-July 27, 2017
